What is Qshare?
Qshare is a modern concept that helps member companies to achieve ISO certification and/or maintain their ISO management system at a very affordable cost by sharing the cost of consultancy and Maintenance with other members of the scheme. The scheme is backed by the Qshare Central enterprise web application software.

Management systems within the Qshare scope are primarily ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 with the ability to plug in virtually any other Management System.

How does the Qshare scheme work?
Quality professionals and ISO consulting firms are very expensive to employ today. Qshare groups companies together and they share the cost of consultants at a fraction of the cost of retaining such consultants full-time. Each scheme member is allocated a specific number of man days sufficient to either guide the company to certification and/or maintain its quality system on an annual basis.

How much does the Qshare scheme cost?
The cost of your Qshare scheme depends on the size of your organization (number of employees). This will determine the number of man days you require the consultant for the year.

What size of company can join the Qshare scheme?
Any size of company can join the Qshare scheme.

What is the procedure for joining the Qshare scheme?
You need to fill and forward an enquiry form.
You will then receive an official quotation and contract.
You sign the contract and fax it back to Qshare.
Your initial visit date will then be communicated to you to fit your convenience.

Who decides what is done during visits?
Except for ISO certification consultancy where the program is structured towards ISO certification, your Qshare retainer consultant will usually give priority to management system issues that threaten your compliance to the system standard or your established procedures.

Will my Qshare consultant be present at registrar surveillance visits?
Yes, your consultant will attend as your guide and advisor where such is required.

Is the Qshare scheme only for ISO certified companies? No. Qshare can be utilized for both certification consultancy and retainer consultancy.

Is Qshare only for quality management systems (ISO 9001)? Although the Qshare concept began with Quality Management Systems, the scheme has now been made to include ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety) management systems.

Can I utilize the Qshare scheme just to attain certification to a management system? Yes, the Qshare certification scheme is designed for companies willing to go for certification to any management system standard within the scope of Qshare. Management systems within the Qshare scope are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
